La Clara arriba una tarda a Ca la dona i ens diu “vinc a pintar un mural”. Llavors li ensenyem la paret i li diem que s’ho miri, prengui les seves mesures (la paret té 4m x3m) i dissenyi l’esquema amb tranquil·litat… La deixem sola davant l’enorme perspectiva i anem a buscar una escala que es troba al pis de dalt. Triguem uns 20 minuts i quan ens tornem a trobar amb ella, ja ha pintat la meitat de la seva obra, així, sense prendre mesures, directament, amb esprais, decisió i precisió! No hem pogut ni presenciar la posada en acció de la pintura mural ràpida. Ens deixa bocabadades… Totes les portes obertes per les olors i acaba l’obra amb molt poc temps. Negre, verd, rosa, gris, blau… sense mescles, una ciutat dura al fons, dues dones en primer pla sostenint un cartell que diu “el barri per a qui hi viu” Hem vist/no vist tot un espectacle en directe de com es fan (o com necessiten fer-se) alguns murals urbans.

FemArt (FA)– Clara, per començar l’entrevista, presenta’t tu mateixa i parla’ns del teu recorregut artístic i vital. 

Clara (C) – Em dic Clara, sóc de San Antoni (el barri de la ciutat) i sempre he pintat, sempre. No hi ha hagut un moment a la meva vida que no hagi pintat… Vaig fer il·lustració i després vaig fer postproducció de 3D i Efectes especials i després me’n vaig anar a Bèlgica a treballar. I com feia molt fred sempre pintava a casa, no sortia,… Es que, a veure: feia menys de 6 graus!! Feia tan fred que pintava moltíssim… Vaig pintar molt des de casa, feia 3D i això…, i després vaig dir “jo me’n vaig, fa massa fred aquí “ i vaig marxar i vaig seguir pintar, però ja estava farta del 3D.

FA– Però tu formaves part de les Bicing sisters*, coneixem els teus vídeos de les vostres presentacions a la Cinétika i a Youtube. Som fans.

C– Eiii! Com ho sabeu això! Ja, ja!, quina vergonya!.. Vam fer una sèrie de vídeos urbans anarquistes…, no sé si han resistit el pas dels anys. D’això fa molt temps… Això va ser abans d’anar a Bèlgica. Quan vaig tornar vaig fer collage, i com que estava farta de l’ordinador, del 3D, em feien mal els ulls!… Llavors vaig posar-me a pintar i dibuixava fatal, però eren dibuixos molt divertits, eren deformes, molt originals, jo em divertia molt. A més com que em treia les ulleres, encara deformava més els meus dibuixos…Feia retrats de personatges, els figurava deformats, però s’assemblaven molt, són molt graciosos i mai els vaig voler corregir.

FA-Això de la percepció deformada ens interessa, es una deformitat intencionada, de percepció i denuncia, no? També fas il·lustracions per la revista Massala, oi? Com vas passar de tot això a la pintura de gran format, a la pintura mural urbana?

C– Doncs perquè els meus amics grafiteros em deien “vine al carrer” i sortíem a pintar. Però no us penseu que vaig pintant murs com una boja! Bé potser sí si m’enborratxo! ja, ja, ja!

FA– Quines línies artístiques t’agraden més, quines tendències, o quina gent t’ha influït?

C– Uaaa!, jo què sé, no sé, conec a molta gent que pinta i dibuixa i arriba un moment que ja no saps fer res més… al final todo se te pega. No sabria concretar.

FA– Treballes sempre sola en el àmbit artístic o tens un grup o un lloc on te sens entesa, on pots fer i parlar del que fas?

C– Uff! És duríssim el panorama artístic a Barcelona! És un drama!. És com si en lloc de valorar-te per qui ets, et valorin per la teva obra i, això tampoc està bé, saps?

FA– Què vols dir? Pensem que és bo que te valorin pel que fas, no?

C– Sí, Sí, però Barna és molt petit i et trobes a la mateixa gent per tot arreu, tothom es coneix i … per exemple a mi només em van començar a saludar quan vaig fer bicing, abans era com si no exitís, i això no es fa!…el panorama és molt excloent i fa fàstic!

FA– Vols dir que encara que treballis molt i facis obra, si no tens un cop d’efecte que t’introdueixi en el cercle/sistema, ningú et fa cas… Sí, d’acord, el panorama de formació i de producció artística a Barcelona és precari, quasi provincià…. I tu com ho vius?

C– Bé , no em va malament del tot…, a veure… no sóc milionària, …

FA– Et pots dedicar completament a l’art?

C– Sí, però perquè tinc família, eh?! Abans del covid sí que m’anava bé, feia portades, il·lustrava revistes, però ara no, ara està tot parat.

FA– I què ens portes amb el teu mural?

C– Hi ha la ciutat dura al fons i unes figures que demanen amb un cartell que el barri sigui pels que l’habiten… Tot va en relació amb el tema que proposaveu sobre l’habitatge.

FA-Sí és el tema que han treballat les artistes de la última residència del Projecte Emergències…. I què en penses tu de tot això?

C– Tot és molt boig… lo de la gentrificació, és increïble!…Jo visc al barri de Sant Antoni , que està a la cresta de la ola. Allà es lloguen pisos per 1700 euros quan els sous mitjans no arriben ni a 1000! I tot es especulació i pensant en els guiris, ni tan sols és per la gent d’aquí, ni pels rics d’aquí, tot és pensat per la gent de fora… i els desnonaments i l’expulsió dels veïns…, tot és la mateixa especulació. Acabaran amb els barris.

FA– Com vius ser tia i artista a Barcelona, sobretot en aquests espais més públics com són els murals urbans?

C– Jo no he tingut massa problemes, he fet exposicions en locals d’algun amic o col·lectives,… no sé, no he provat ser home, però segur que és més fàcil per ells, com tot… Però conec algunes ties muralistes que estan fins el cony dels tios de la moguda urbana! Això sí!

* Bising Sisters és una websèrie de tres amigues (Maria Jan, Clara Sanz i Júlia Salvador) que són com una banda de «moteres», però els seus vehicles són Bisings. Això els hi treu tota la credibilitat com a delinqüents. És ridícul, només tenen 20 minuts per fer les seves malifetes. Finalment no utilitzen tant el Bicing en la ficció, ja que només una membre de l’equip productor és sòcia. Cada personatge és creat per donar resposta a allò que la ciutat de Barcelona ens proposa, triant les característiques de cada personatge, com la condició social que tenen, per poder parlar de diverses problemàtiques. Cultura kinki dels vuitanta, acció real directa. Un sentiment gairebé adolescent, de rebel·lió religiosa i narcisisme ( Els vídeos es poden trobar a Youtube)
